Inqredients
1 peeled,sliced cucumber
1 tablespoon apple
eider vinegar
2 teaspoon lemon juice
Put cucumber in blender (juicer
is even better) and set on high until cucumber
is liquefied. Using fine sieve or cheese-cloth to catch pulp, pour cucumber-juice mixture into small bowl. Add apple eider vinegar and lemon juice. Mix well with whisk. Transfer ingredients to sport-type squirt bottle. Apply by
splashing onto face or by saturating fresh cotton ball and patting on skin.
Storage and life span: Because
cucumber does not hold up store in the
refrigerator and discard after two to three days.
Home remedy #2 Vodka Tonic
No, this isn't the popular mixeddrink; it's an astringent for oily skin. Made
from distilled potatoes or grains, vodka makes a wonderfully clear, clean oil remover. Pineapple is a refreshing
exfoliater as well as a skin softener. Together the two help to elimínate unwanted oils while leaving the skin soft, smooth, and
revitalized.
Inqredients
'4 cup vodka
4 cup
water
1 teaspoon pineapple juice
Mix vodka, water, and pineapple
juice in small sport-type squirt bottle (the kind
bicyclists use). Pour small amount into palm of hand
and splash over face, being careful not to get any in your eyes (vodka can sting). Also can be applied with fresh cotton ball. Use
every morning or whenever you feel need for quick face cleaning.
Shake before using.
Storage and life
span: Store in the refrigerator. Will
last for six to eight weeks.
Home remedy #3 Tomato Lime Relief
The acidic tomato can bringneeded relief to oily or greasy skin. The tomato not
only helps restore healthy acid levéis to oily skin,
it also helps tone skin and improves circulation. A splash of lime juice adds an astringent, exfoliating punch to this recipe. Those with very oily skin can use it every day. Otherwise, a couple of times a week should be sufficient.

quartered
1 teaspoon lime juice
Place tomato chunks in blender and
puree until liquefied. Using fine sieve or
cheesecloth to catch pulp, pour tomato juice into small
mixing bowl. Add lime juice. Use whisk to mix ingredi-ents. Transfer to sport-type squirt bottle. Apply to face with fín-gertips or deán cotton ball. Allow to sit two to three minutes. Rinse face with warm water and pat skin dry.

life span: Store in the refrigerator and
keep no longer than two or three days.
