For some people, dry skin is a seasonal condition.

The dry, itchy flakes
come when the first autumn leaves fall and depart when the daffbdils begin to
bloom.
For others it's a more permanent state. Either way, you could drop asmall fortune in protective creams and lotions trying to keep dry skin at bay.
But now, using a few simple ingredients
you're likely to have at home, you can relieve
dry skin quickly, simply, and inexpensively.
Nature Medicine and Home Remedies for Dry Skin
Home remedy #1: Sunflower-Lavender Oil
Lavender has numerous healing propertiesand can act as an antiseptic for chapped, dry skin. As a bonus, this aromatic

and relaxing. Sunflower oil is brimming with
vitamin E, a well-known skin nourisher and
replenisher. The two together produce a beauti-ful,
fragrant oil that provides instant relief for dry skin.

cups sunflower oil
1 handful dried lavender
Pour sunflower oil into
medium-sized mixing bowl. Add lavender. Stir
until flowers are well distributed throughout oil. Pour oil into glass or plástic container with airtight lid or cork. Allow to sit two to three weeks. Apply as needed.
Storage and lifespan: Although this product takes
longer to make than most others, it also yields a large batch of fragrant oil that will easily last several months. The longer the herb sits in the
oil, the more fragrant and "active" it will become.
