Dry Hair - Homemade Beauty Recipes

As we age, our glands naturally begin to secrete less oil, leaving our skin, scalp, and consequently our hair drier than it was when we were younger.

Of course, all the perming, coloring, and pro-cessing our hair endures also strips away oil. For people with oily hair, this drying effect can be a welcome relief. But for folks with normal or dry hair, the loss of their natural oils leaves hair increas-ingly dry, brittle, and susceptible to damage.

Dry hair also has lesslife and luster than hair shining with natural oils. The simple solu-tion for a parched mane is to use shampoos and treatments that add a protective layer of oil to your scalp and hair shaft
